Quilts
Quilts pieced, appliquéd and quilted over many years: bargello, Storm at Sea, foundation paper piecing, and a run of baby quilts.
Quilting runs through most of what I make. Some of these are pieced by hand and some by machine; some took a weekend and one took years.
If quilting is what you want to learn, it is taught as part of sewing lessons rather than separately: it builds on accurate cutting and consistent seams, so it suits people who already have the basics.
